Understanding CP – Monster Edition

Hero CP

Hero CP has two different modes: Monster Hunting and PvP. We’ll be focusing mainly on Monster Hunting and how Hero CP applies to that. Additionally, the stats we’ll be focused on will be Attack, Defense, and HP.

When calculating the Base Stats for Hero CP, remember that many of the Paid Heroes are going to have better stats than your Free Heroes that Iron Throne starts you with.

Also, when looking at your Attack, Defense, and HP to determine your Hero CP, please note that it may look different than initially calculated, and that’s because there are specific formulas in the game that players can’t always determine.

Attack

The most important stat for determining Hero CP when attacking monsters. You’ll want to focus on specific on all things that can help raise that attack stat. It’s worth noting that even though a Hero might have a larger Hero CP than another Hero if Hero #2 has a larger Attack stat, it may be more successful overall versus monsters.

Focus on Gear, buffs, and bonuses to raise your overall attack base stat which will in-turn raise your overall Hero CP.

However, some gear will raise your Base Attack Stat entirely, which can make a huge difference in calculating your CP. The best rule of thumb to go by is to raise your Base Attack over small bonuses since the formula for determining your attack will always have a greater outcome by enhancing it.

Formula: Base Attack Stat (number) x Hero Attack %

Some places that can help increase your Base Attack Stat:

Winter Tiger

Majestic Gauntlet

Ice Troll

Bravery Rune

Monster Hunt Attack Skills

Hero Training Research

Defense & HP

Having no defense or HP base stats won’t hinder your Hero CP when it comes to hunting monsters, but as mentioned above, the most important stat is attack. If your gear and buffs happen to have Defense and HP, it certainly won’t hurt you. Just make sure to not let those stats take over when you can focus on raising your base attack stat.
