With the latest Iron Throne Update, new gear sets were released. While these gear sets have some similarities to our older sets, they have new and increased stats that will blow your mind. Players will definitely want to begin collecting materials for these sets asap.
Today we will take a closer look at the stats and some of the key differences between these gear sets and your older Conqueror, Destroyer, Dominator, and Guardian gear sets. In addition, we will provide information regarding the Set Bonuses offered for these new gear sets and how to use them so you are ready to slay your opponents in style.
Updates to Level 40 Gear
While level 40 gear is not up to par with our latest level 60 gear, there have been some updates done to it, to breathe new life. This means that if you need gear for heroes that are not attacking or defending or providing economic functions, this gear is a viable option. It is also viable to use while working towards more current gear.
Equipment Enhancement
All three level 40 gear sets can now be enhanced to +30. This has helped add additional stats to this gear. After achieving +20 the cost remains consistent at two pieces of gear per enhancement level.
Equipment Engraving
This gear can also be engraved now. In order to engrave level 40 gear, you must have enhanced it to level 20. The cost to engrave this gear is five equipment engraving stones per engraving chance. Remember, that once you engrave gear, the engraving stats only count on the hero that was wearing it when you engraved it.
Majestic Gear Update
Majestic Gear is one of the many gears we saw updated in October. This gear can now get enhanced from +20 to +30.

Slaughter
An equipment set specialized for Infantry, made to completely Slaughter Enemy Castles.
Slaughter Gear is the new and improved Conqueror Gear. This gear outshines the stats from Conqueror with a few key differences.
Slaughter Your Hero
When utilizing Slaughter Gear you should equip it to an Infantry Hero. While Conqueror Gear was able to be equipped to a level 30 Hero that is not the same for Slaughter Gear. To equip this gear, your Hero must be level 40.
Comparison and Contrast
There are some key differences between Slaughter and Conqueror Gear that we would like to highlight here:
- Slaughter Gear has debuffs for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Troops that was not previously available.
- The Slaughter Gear does not have an Enemy Cavalry HP Debuff.
- Slaughter Gear Stats are higher then Conqueror Gear Stats. However, if your Conqueror Gear is highly enhanced be sure that you are still getting an increase in stats when switching from one gear to another.
- For example, A conqueror Ring enhanced to level 9 has a Hero Defense Stat of 1,428 while a Slaughter Accessory not enhanced has a Hero Defense Stat of only +752.

Outcry
An equipment set specialized for Archers, made to spread Outcry within enemy castles.
There is an Outcry in neighboring castles as this new gear vanquishes your foes. This new Archer Gear is the new and improved Destroyer set with some key differences.

When utilizing Outcry Gear you should equip it to an Archer Hero. While Destroyer Gear was able to be equipped to a level 30 Hero that is not the same for Outcry Gear. To equip this gear, your Hero must be level 40.

Agility
An equipment set specialized for Cavalry, made for agile battle against enemy castles.
Watch your Hero destroy your enemies with agility. The Agility set is a new Cavalry Gear with some key differences from the previous Dominator Set.

When utilizing Agility Gear you should equip it to a Cavalry Hero. While Dominator Gear was able to be equipped to a level 30 Hero that is not the same for Agility Gear. To equip this gear, your Hero must be level 40.

Majestic
The Second Equipment set optimized for the Guard Captain’s abilities. Allows you to efficiently defend against any type of attack.
Be Majestic with this new gear for your Guard Captain. Majestic Gear is a new gear that supports overall troop stats with some key differences from the Guardian Gear Set.
Let your Guard Captain be Majestic
This gear set is intended for your Guard Captain so be sure to equip it to this Hero. While Guardian Gear can be equipped to your Hero at Level 30 this is not the case for Majestic Gear. To equip Majestic Gear, you must have a level, 40 Hero.
Comparison and Contrast
There are some key differences between Majestic and Guardian Gear that we would like to highlight here:
- Majestic Gear provides stats for Troop Attack whereas Guardian Gear does not. This is a stat that is essential and had been missing from the previous Guardian Gear.
- This Gear also offers a Dimensional Battle Troop Attack Stat that was not available in Guardian Gear.
- Majestic Gear has higher stats than Guardian Gear. However, if you have highly enhanced Guardian Gear some testing may need to be done to determine if the attack you gain outweighs possible decreases in stats for HP and Defense.
