Town Mode offers many benefits for your build and progression in Iron Throne. Completing the initial missions and visiting the town daily is imperative. We encourage you to take time out during your initial visits to read the complex story, as it gives insight into the world of Iron Throne and fleshes out the characters.
Town Mode is available at Citadel Level 8. Upon entering the town for the first time, there will be three types of quests available: Epic, Daily and Guide. Epic and Guide can only be completed once, but Daily Quests should be done early each day to set buffs and maximize rewards.
Guide Quests
Guide Quests are a tutorial. They give the player necessary information on how to play, and reward you with gold.
Epic Quests
Containing an elaborate flowing story line, Epic Quests can be played through only once, and give the following rewards.

Daily Reward Buffs
Setting these buffs are crucial, as there are three buffs to set daily. The first three resets are free, but after that you must use silver to continue rolling. To set your buffs, complete the daily quests. However, once you complete quests to activate a buff level, you cannot change them for the day. Our suggestion would be to set Buff 1 first, complete the necessary quests, set Buff 2, complete the quests, and finally set Buff 3.
Match your buffs to your goals for the day. If the Alliance event is Monster Hunting, set all Hero Attack Buffs if needed. If you want to focus on research, set research buffs. Below are the maximum Buffs for each Tier level.

Random Chests
Scattered around the Town are chests that contain items such as Resources, XP and Gear Chests. Take some time daily to go find these, as every little bit of free stuff counts!
